Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - What does it mean and how can we best use it?

Machines that can think a million times faster than humans....and learn from their mistakes...... What does this mean for us, and our society?

Greg Peyroux, Managing Director at Iris Data Science, will present a number of examples to illustrate what is possible, including how machines are outperforming humans in numerous tasks.

Some concerns and AI issues will also be covered.

Speakers

Greg has many years experience in data management, analysis and structure. He has experience in bio-informatics, agtech, genomics, finance and many other areas, with experience at NESI. Greg also has an interest in green computing, and the social impacts of technological development.
