An overview of the Operator Database (OD) and how it fits in with Tourism New Zealand and RTO sites.

This workshop is suitable for Christchurch & Canterbury based tourism businesses who don't have a current listing on the Tourism New Zealand OD or have limited knowledge of the functionality and importance of the OD.

Ensuring Christchurch & Canterbury based Tourism Operators are aware of the reach of the Tourism New Zealand Operator Database. Why creating a listing on newzealand.com is an important leveraging tool. The workshop will cover:

An overview of the Operator Database (OD) and how it fits in with Tourism New Zealand and RTO sites
• What is the OD and why an Operator should list
• An overview of the OD and how the OD is structured
• Workshop time to create a listing

Operators will need to bring with them to the workshop:
• a description of their business
• basic business info (location, contact details etc)
• a description of each product they would like to offer (min 400 characters/letters long)
• digital files of photos of their products and business logo
• any online/website URL’s (website, online booking info, facebook, youtube etc)
• Trip Advisor/Qualmark info and ID numbers
