ShadowTech Day
Join ShadowTech and experience a day in the life of a tech professional.

ShadowTech provides girls in years 9 -11 with an opportunity to experience what working in the tech sector is like, encouraging them onto education pathways that lead into tech sector roles.
The programme connects girls at school with women mentors working in the tech sector, and students spend the day with them at their workplace, learning about the diverse range of jobs available within ICT.
Our objective is to see an increase in the number of girls who choose STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related subjects at a secondary and tertiary level, and ultimately choose a career in technology.
ShadowTech in Palmerston North is being coordinated by NZTech with the support of the Universal College of Learning (UCOL). Please register your interest in attending through our partner portal Youth Hub, and we will be in touch with further information about the day.
