Dr Jing Lin will speak about her research developing logic-based methodologies for reliability risk reduction in the engineering field, with particular application to oil and gas subsea pipeline construction in China. This has been her field of research since her PhD study.
Dr Jing Lin is a lecturer in engineering at Dalian Ocean University in China. After an undergraduate degree in Lighting Physics and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Jing worked in international manufacturing. She has seven years’ experience working in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, including three years in high tech industry in Silicon Valley, California.
