War Memorial Library, 2 Queens Drive, Lower Hutt 5010, Wellington, New Zealand

Make a game and learn to code the fun way!
This event has already happened!

Come and make a game and learn to code with Gamefroot.

Attendees will be taken through making a side scrolling runner game inspired by Robot Unicorn Attack. You will learn how to code your own game controller, a distance counter, and how to make a personal high score counter. These are just some of the things you'll need to know if you want to make video games.

This event is suitable for both boys and girls with and without coding experience. For those with existing coding experience this is a chance to refine your skills and make a video game. For those without coding experience this is a great opportunity to level up your digital technologies skills in a fun and meaningful way.

At the end of the session we will export our games and discuss how to publish your games online to share with others.
