This meetup is an informal event specifically for creative technologists in Northland. It's been set up with a view to maybe having regular meets in the future and/or scoping future events and potential projects. Its a chance to talk about what you are doing, set out your wishes and needs and to have a cuppa with other like minds.

You might be an established creative practitioner, or an artist who wants to more actively engage with technology or a technologist who wants to be even more creative. Creative technology covers a wide range of practices including (but not limited to) interactive multimedia environments and interactive installations, immersive gaming and storytelling, design using smart materials and e-textiles, creative applications with DIY electronics and micro controllers, artistic applications within augmented and virtual reality ....and other random cool stuff that is creative and tech.

Just come along regardless and we can see what emerges from there.
