An opportunity to share your thoughts with Callaghan Innovation on how they could help Taranaki’s energy and environmental sectors become future proof through innovation and technology.

Join this intimate, round table discussion between Callaghan Innovation and Taranaki’s prominent energy and environmental businesses.  This is your opportunity to shape the future strategies and programmes that Callaghan Innovation could offer to better support innovation and new technologies for the sector in Taranaki. 

Their dedicated Energy and Environmental Sector Team will provide an update on the work they are doing in this sector, give some insights into future technologies both in New Zealand and internationally, present their draft strategy and the proposed programmes they would like to develop. 

Following this, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed strategies and programmes, talk about any technology constraints you are experiencing and discuss your ideas as to how Callaghan Innovation could be supporting the sector more in Taranaki.  

The session will be run by James Muir, Callaghan Innovation’s Business Innovation Advisor for the Energy and Environmental Sector Team. James' experience spans across many sectors including power, finance, oil and gas, government, water and transport, with a specific focus on clean energy and sustainability.    

This event is brought to you in partnership with Callaghan Innovation , a government agency whose purpose is to help New Zealand businesses grow and innovate through technology with specialised programmes, expertise from over 200 scientists and engineers, world-class testing facilities, as well as grants and funding.
