Hear from Peter an update on NZTE, export support for companies and what the international market is looking like.

Peter has been Chief Executive since October 2011. From then to now, Peter and the team have been focused on building an organisation that can grow companies internationally, including attracting investment, for the benefit of New Zealand.

Before NZTE, Peter spent 23 years in the engineering, manufacturing, and pulp and paper industries, including roles in human resources, operations, logistics, supply chain, business improvement and general management. Peter was the General Manager of Tasman Paper in Kawerau, New Zealand, before taking up a role as Senior Vice President for Norske Skog International at the global headquarters in Oslo, covering business in South America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

His final role before moving back to New Zealand was based in Sydney as Regional President Norske Skog Australasia, manufacturing newsprint for New Zealand, Australia and Asian markets.
