Join Canterbury Tech in association with NZHIT & HiNZ for a global trends in health tech – lunch and showcase at Vodafone Xone, Christchurch. We will hear from two speakers on trends in health tech across Asia & Europe, followed by a showcase of local organisations that are developing leading health tech innovations that are being exported globally. 

Guests speakers:

Gabe Rijpma is a senior ICT and health industry leader based in Christchurch. He is currently the senior director of Health and Social Services for Microsoft in Asia based out of New Zealand.

Jon Herries is the Group Manager - Emerging Health Technology at Ministry of Health New Zealand. Jon will talk about some of the lessons we can learn from Ireland and UK in bringing emerging technology to healthcare in New Zealand. 

The event will provide an excellent opportunity for attendees interested in health tech to mix and mingle, discuss areas of interest from speakers, and network with colleagues from the health and wider tech sector.

Speakers

Gabe Rijpma is a senior ICT and health industry leader based in Christchurch. He is currently the senior director for Health andSocial Services for Microsoft in Asia based out of New Zealand.
Jon has recently returned to NZ from four years in Ireland where he was working in Healthcare and Technology consulting for EY. Previously Jon established the Integrated Care Collaborative for CCDHB and was involved in project management, technology development and analytics.
