One of the central challenges of the twenty first century is our transition to a sustainable economy. Hidden in amongst the Kauri trees and pools of snapper at the top of New Zealand, are local organisations with local people who spend their days working on better, cleaner, faster and safer ways to achieve these sustainable practices. Why? Because Northland’s sub-tropical climate, vast un-touched land and ‘yes’ attitudes create the perfect conditions for land and water innovation to succeed.
