Launch Taranaki Dragons Den

Sat 19 May 3:15 — 5pm

Devon Hotel, Devon Street West, New Plymouth, New Zealand

Come and see angel investing in action and learn how to fund and grow your business in a fun and educational environment
This event has already happened!

The Dragon’s Den is an opportunity to learn more about funding your business ideas and Angel investing and is proudly sponsored by Launch Taranaki.

Witness a live event loosely based on the famous UK TV series Dragons Den and the US version Shark Tank.

Students will give a 10 minute pitch that outlines their business idea and ask for funding from investors in return for a share of the company. A panel of experienced Angel investors will have Monopoly money to invest and will negotiate with the entrepreneur for a share of the company.

Angel investors typically fund companies that have the potential to scale, and are an important source of early stage funds and experience for early-stage tech companies.

Experienced Angel investors will be available to answer your questions.

This is a free event. A Gold Coin donation is appreciated to support the Pukekura Education Trust.

Please register to attend.
