National Coworking Day

Tue 22 May 9am — 4pm

Launch, 41 Esplanade, Inner Kaiti, Gisborne

Free coworking throughout New Zealand! Enjoy a free day of coworking at Launch on 22 May 2018.
This event has already happened!

Launch is one of the awesome New Zealand coworking spaces taking part in National Coworking Day 2018.

National Coworking Day is New Zealand's annual celebration of coworking. Every year coworking spaces give away free coworking days throughout the country at the same time. So if you would like to try coworking for the first time, or try another space out, or maybe just pop in and say hi to your local coworking communities, this is the perfect event for you!

What is being offered?

Launch will be open for free coworking on Tuesday 22 May 2018.

That's right, free, nothing to pay, no strings, no tricks, no pressure to buy anything, no promotional codes, no mailing lists, no email pestering after you try it.

How do you take part?

Just visit Launch between 9am and 4pm during their open day. As a new coworking space for New Zealand there will be a party to celebrate from 4pm till 6pm, check out that event on Techweek for more.

When you arrive you will be greeted, welcomed to the space and asked to sign-in.

You will then be shown to an area or areas where you can work, and set up on their internet connection.

Each coworking space is unique, so we also encourage you to contact them beforehand if you have any access requirements, or you can use the map at to find out more about finding Launch and their accessibility.

What can you expect?

It is important that your free coworking days are exactly the same experience you would have if you were a regular user of this space. National Coworking Day simply aims to remove barriers to coworking such as not knowing where your nearest spaces are, or if you'll be expected as a new visitor, or if they are open and how to find them!
