The New Zealand Space Challenge seeks innovative solutions using new or current technologies or data, in space or on land, to enable safer, more efficient navigation across Antarctica.

John Ahearn from GPS Control Systems Ltd is the winner of the Auckland/Northland/Bay of Plenty regional finals. John will go on to pitch for the $40K grand prize at the "Extreme Environments: From Antarctica to Space" event in Christchurch on 24 May.
