The Thames Rotary Club has been operating since 1947.

The group holds weekly breakfast meetings that are open to the public and during Techweek'18 Waikato the meeting will include presentations and exhibits on innovative applications of technology including industry 4.0, Internet of Things, and smart farming, plus those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet Dougie, a clinical robot socialising with staff and patients at Thames Hospital as part of a six month trial sponsored by the Waikato DHB virtual care program.

Speakers

Erik was a licensed hospital Physician in the U.S. before moving to NZ 5 years ago and has experience in critical care, infectious disease, and pulmonary medicine. Erik also has a BA in Management Information Systems and a passion for improving the use of technology in medicine.
