Co-Create the Aotearoa NZ Digital Strategy

Fri 25 May 12:30 — 2:30pm

Centre of Contemporary Art (COCA), 66 Gloucester St, Christchurch Central, Christchurch

You're already keen & involved. Come and join us to create a "what's most important" list for the new Aotearoa New Zealand digital strategy.
This event has already happened!

You're a member of the community which exists to ensure digital technology does the most it can for people, business, the community, the economy.

We're inviting you to come to this workshop to talk about the new digital strategy and how to build it. Think of a new house - what is its foundation? who needs it? what's essential? (solar panels, fibre in-built), what's nice to have? (LEDs in the bathroom, garaging for the Roomba).

The aim is to talk about what's important, think about who's doing what now, what's already happening, who else should be involved. There'll be "speed dating", where you'll have conversations to co-create and contribute to the new strategy. Naturally there'll also be ‎Post-its® and sticky dots!

The workshop will be led by Kim Connolly-Stone, Policy Director, Digital Economy Programme, Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, accompanied by colleagues from MBIE and the Department of Internal Affairs.

We want you to get energy out of this workshop, make new connections and help us by providing valuable input into the work we'll be helping to progress on the new digital strategy, with the new CTO and the Digital Economy and Digital Inclusion Ministerial Advisory Group.
