2018 marks the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in Aotearoa. This makes our biggest tech festival, Techweek NZ, the perfect time to celebrate the girls, women, and other marginalised gender (omg) coders who write much of Aotearoa's inventive and sweet as code. 

She Can Code is: an online event; coding projects for beginners; a competition for schools and clubs; stories about some of Aotearoa’s amazing coders; a tweetstorm of images of Aotearoa girls, women, and omg people coding around the country; in-person coding events in Christchurch.
